Insight

Worship isn't about perfect words or polished performances. Jesus points out a timeless struggle: going through religious motions while our hearts remain distant. True worship flows from genuine love and connection with God, not from following a script of traditions. When we focus more on "doing it right" than being real with God, we miss the whole point of worship.

Today, take 5 minutes of quiet time with God. Instead of reciting practiced prayers, simply share what's genuinely on your heart - your joys, fears, or questions. How does it feel to be completely authentic with God?
